I think one of the saddest themes of S4 is Gunn’s self-depreciation when it comes to his intelligence.  He only sees himself as “the muscle”, but throughout the series there are examples of how his smarts helped save them all.  It finally blows up in S5, but I just wish someone had taken a moment just to tell him how valuable he was before it reached that point.

(It’s not lost on me that J. August Richards went on to play several lawyers after the conclusion of this series.)
